God-candidates were skilled or honorable individuals, who were given the offer to either enter The senseless realm or gain incredible powers, at the cost of endless devotion. God-candidates can either be offered a position or be placed in a situation against their will by the gods. The Manes are an example of unvoluntary god servants.
The exact number of god-candidates is unknown, but it's expected that no more than 20 humanoids have been contacted by the gods at any point (not counting the events of The Seer War).
